Team NetApp showed off with great results at the Tour of Slovakia once again. Jan Barta and Timon Seubert ranked third and fourth on Sunday's individual trime trial over 19.9 kilometers from Mosty U Jablunskova to Cadca. Again, Robert Vrecer from Team Perutnina was the day's winner. He set the fastest time with 24:56 minutes and was able to extend his lead in the overall classification. With two more stages to go, his next rival is now Timon Seubert.
Daniel Schorn missed out on another stage win at the Tour of Slovakia barely. After the 103 kilometer course which has been shortened the Austrian NetApp pro sprinted to rank three. He also defended the jersey as the leader of the youth classification. The stage was won by Russian Alexander Porsev from Team Itera Katusha, he also took over the lead in the overall classification.
Daniel Schorn won the second stage of the 54th Tour of Slovakia. The Austrian won the stage of 178 kilometers from Nitra to Velky Krtis in a mass sprint, followed by his compatriot Werner Riebenbauer of Team Wels-Gourmetfein. Schorn today not only claimed his third victory of the season but also moved up to rank two in the general classification and took over the jersey as the leader of the youth classification.
Team NetApp Pro Daniel Schorn sprinted to rank five at the first stage of the Tour of Slovakia and thereby gained the second top ranking for his team. After 176 kilometers with start and finish in Nitra, the stage win was claimed in a mass sprint by the Russian Alexander Parse from team Katusha before Wouter Wippert (Davo-Lotto) and Werner Riebenbauer (Wels-Gourmetfein).
