Timon Seubert now second in
the overall classification
Team NetApp showed off with great results at the Tour of Slovakia
once again. Jan Barta and Timon Seubert ranked third and fourth on
Sunday's individual trime trial over 19.9 kilometers from Mosty U
Jablunskova to Cadca. Again, Robert Vrecer from Team Perutnina was
the day's winner. He set the fastest time with 24:56 minutes and
was able to extend his lead in the overall classification.

9/3/2010Daniel Schorn on the podium again
Daniel Schorn missed out on another
stage win at the Tour of Slovakia barely. After the 103 kilometer
course which has been shortened because of fallen trees, the
Austrian NetApp pro sprinted to rank three. He also defended the
jersey as the leader of the youth classification. However Schorn
dropped from rank two to three in the overall classification. The
stage was won by Russian Alexander Porsev from Team Itera Katusha,
he also took over the lead in the overall classification.

Second podium place for
Team NetApp
Daniel Schorn won the second stage of the 54th Tour of Slovakia.
The Austrian won the race from Nitra to Velky Krtis in a mass
sprint. Schorn today not only claimed his third victory of the
season but also moved up to rank two in the general classification
and took over the jersey as the leader of the youth classification.
It's the second podium place for Team NetApp at the Tour of
Slovakia after Jan Barta has ranked third at the prologue.

8/29/2010First school - then ProTour
In the upcoming season, Team NetApp
youngster Tassilo Fricke is switching to Germany's greatest talent
factory, the Thüringer Energie Team. The reason for the move is
school. The 19-year-old Gymnasium student is planning to pursue his
diploma (Abitur) while continuing to fine-tune his skills in the
Thüringer Energie Team in order to keep up to speed with the
demands of cycling's highest league. His subsequent return to Team
NetApp has already been contractually secured.

Alexander Meenhorst wins
the second stage of the Tour Alsace
Alexander Meenhorst has won the second stage of the Tour Alsace on
Thursday and celebrated his first victory in this season. After
153.8 kilometers from Strasbourg to Bischoffsheim the pro from Team
NetApp outpaced the French Herbert Pudans in a sprint between the
two escapees. Andreas Dietziker rounded up this successful day with
a fifth place.

Swiss pro is going to ride
for Team NetApp already by end of July
Andreas Dietziker, who has been
riding for the austrian Team Vorarlberg-Corratec, transfers to Team
NetApp at 1 July. The 27 years old Swiss is able to show some
remarkable results. He could save twice the win of the Giro del
Mendrisiotto, he won one stage of the Tour of Rhineland-Palatinate
in 2007, finished second at the Tour of Bavaria and ranked third at
the time trial of the Swiss Championships. In the current season
Dietziker lastly reached a second place at a stage of the Settimana
Lombarda.

weekend. Team NetApp has featured five times. The majority of the
team had competed at the German Championships in Sangerhausen on

Today was a combative one for Team
NetApp, which ended with rank 13 for Jan Bárta. He was leading the
head of the peloton for over 100 kilometers once in a duo and then
by himself. "Today we gave our best and showed a very good
performance", Team NetApp Manager Ralph Denk was satisfied. "Jan is
unbelievable. Our engine. Unfortunately he couldn't keep up the
lead until the finish. Though we had two other riders beside Jan in
the first group who sprinted for the stage win", continued

5/27/2010 Crash at the finish: youngsters of Team NetApp involved
Luck is what you need
sometimes. Unfortunately Team NetApp didn't have this last bit of
luck on the second stage of the 'Bayern Rundfahrt'
today.
"We really had bad luck today",
said Jens Heppner at the finish. "Three kilometers before the
finish, Andreas Schillinger who is our best rider for to prepare a
sprint had a puncture and shortly after a crash happened",
continued Heppner. Alexander Meenhorst and Tassilo Fricke were
about to prepare the sprint for Daniel Schorn, when they got
involved in a crash. "Daniel could avoid the total crash, but had
to slow down a lot", explained Jens Heppner.

Team NetApp's youngster Timon
Seubert startet with a top result on the first stage of the Giro
del Trentino. It was a brillant time trial that earned him the
sixth place and the white jersey for the best young rider at the
north italian stage race. The Kazakh Alexandre Vinokourov took the
victory ahead of Stefano Garzelli (Aqua & Sapone) and Matteo
Montaguti (De Rosa) on the 12,5 km stage between Riva del Garda and
Torbole sul Garda.

Barta ranks third at the
Tour de Normandie
At the fifth stage of the Tour de
Normandie (22 to 28 March/UCI cat 2.2) Jan Barta took over the
yellow leader jersey for the general classification. After 188
tough kilometers from Elbeuf-sur-Seine to Flers a third place was
enough for the Czech of Team NetApp to confirm the leading
position. The Belgian Sven Vandousselaere (Jong Vlaanderen) gained
the victory ahead of Julien Guay (CC Nogent).

Daniel Schorn reaches the first
victory for Team NetApp. The 21 years old Austrian won the third
stage of the Tour de Normandie (22 to 28 March/UCI cat 2.2) and
outpaced the two Frenchmen Jimmy Casper (Saur-Sojasun) and Fabien
Bacquet (BigMat-Auber) after the 83 kilometers from Forges les Eaux
to Grand Couronne. The Team NetApp pro took over the green jersey
as the top point holder.

Schillinger ranks 8 - a
successful finish for Team NetApp at the Tour of
Murcia
With a third place at the final stage of the Tour of Murcia Daniel
Schorn was able to get the first podium position for Team NetApp.
After the 121 kilometers distance from Redyser to Murcia the young
Austrian sprinted to rank three right after the stage winner Theo
Bos (Cervelo) and Graeme Brown (Rabobank). Andreas Schillinger
perfected the success of Team NetApp with an eighth place.

Fifth rank and fourth place
overall for Daniel Schorn today
On the second stage of the Tour of
Murcia (UCI-cat.2.1/3-7 March) Daniel Schorn was able to improve
his result of the day before. After 169.8 kilometers from
Calasparra to Caravaca de la Cruz the NetApp Pro sprinted to 5th
place and ranks fourth overall. South African Robert Hunter
(Garmin-Transitions) came in first again and beat out Graeme Brown
(Rabobank) and Vicente Reynes (Columbia-HTC) as on the first
stage.

Raubling, November 30, 2009 - The
sense of excitement surrounding the 2010 season has been
constantly high since the team meeting in Lucca held at
the beginning of November. And the admissions received for top
races have only served to further heighten this mood. The
Mallorca Challenge will be Team NetApp's first appearance on
the international cycling stage. Further race admissions were
received from the Eschborn-Frankfurt City Loop and
Bayern Rundfahrt competitions. For this young Continental Team
about to embark on its first cycling season, it is a great
honor to be allowed to participate in these top-class
races.

Raubling, November 13, 2009 -
Preparations for the new Team NetApp's 2010 racing program are in
full swing. From November 3-6, the team of 14 cyclists met with
management and sports directors in the Italian city of Lucca, the
seat of team cosponsor SRM. The meeting focused on performance
tests, team uniforms, photo and video shoots as well as first
interviews for the planned website. But first and foremost, the
meeting gave the newly formed team an opportunity to come together
and get to know each other. In order to ensure that the cyclists
could devote enough time to each other, the team's most important
pieces of equipment, the bicycles, were not part of the agenda.
